A new game we all can play

February 28, 2011

The Curmudgeon and I were enjoying a fine breakfast out on Sunday when we struck upon a genius new game. It’s called “Who would play your dog in a movie.”

To wit:

The Dog. AKA The Squid.

Defining characteristics: short of stature. Bit of a ranga. Slightly kooky, sometimes neurotic. Definitely the sassy best friend character rather than the leading lady. Spooks easily.

My suggestion:

His counter-suggestions:

Dunno, I’m not happy with any of them. They seem brittle and not earthy enough. Any better ideas? How about…

Who would play your dog in a movie?

  1. Hmmm…

    • Oooh, provocative. But you didn’t suggest who would play Hugo. Enquiring minds want to know!

  2. Ned does an excellent Farrah Fawcett impression.

    • Kath – not this fella?

      • Ned tells me he is offended by the comparison. He will concede that he is a big-boned Farrah impressionist.

  3. Whoever the hell the male equivalent of Tara Reid is would play Lucky. Owen Wilson? Hm, not pretty enough. Basically a dumb blonde kind of guy, anyway.

Tiny on the other hand would probably be played by Jacki Weaver. Or possibly Rebecca Gibney. Given her age though I’m thinking Weaver’s more likely.
